Unless you know love happens in the beginning

Maybe it is because he is accustomed to the Ghibli style represented by Hayao Miyazaki, and has some preconceived psychological discomfort with this type of film.
Seeing that everyone's ratings are so high, I'm a little unconvinced. Could it be that I don't understand love and youth?

The school transferred a beautiful woman from Tokyo, and a good friend fell in love at first sight. The story unfolds in this setting. The heroine is this beautiful transfer student, while the hero is not a good friend, but "me". So everyone knows that there must be something between the hero and the heroine, or something must happen.
Sure enough, Rigazi borrowed money from Taku, flew to Tokyo together, and even shared a room in a hotel for the night (although nothing happened), and there were bloody stories of slapping each other in public.
What is surprising is that the movie narrates so many things, but it does not produce a pleasant result. There is no mutual affection between the two - the two of them have not even blushed shy in the whole film. On the contrary, it seems that in the process of deepening their understanding, they see the annoying qualities in each other (especially Rigazi), so they hate each other.
As the plot progresses, more and more questions arise: Why does Takuya have to accompany Rigazi to Tokyo? After coming back, Li Jiazi not only did not thank him, why did he become strangers to Takuya, but also spread the story that the two had spent the night together in Tokyo? Takuya didn't stop the girls from accusing Rigazi. Why was Matsuno so angry that he punched Takuya? And Takuya's reaction, why is it not indignant, but rather calm? Matsuno later said that Takuya liked Rikako, eh? ! when did it happen?
...
the accumulation of so many puzzling mysteries, combined with the unpleasant heroine, almost got me halfway there. Until the end, Taku said, ah, I still like her. After thinking about the plot carefully again, I have a little understanding.

It wasn't that Takuto gradually fell in love with Rikako. Like Matsuno, he fell in love with Rikako from the beginning.

So it all made sense:

Taku was so nervous to see that Matsuno saw him lending money to Rigazi, and after Matsuno left, he sighed heavily.
——Because he also silently liked Rikiko, Takuya felt guilty even though he didn’t do anything to apologize to Matsuno.
Matsuno said on the phone that he went to Rigazi's house and saw her sleeping. After talking on the phone, the picture of Takuya sitting there stayed for a long time.
——Knowing that Takuya also likes Rikako, there is no need to explain it here.
Seeing Rigazi's superficiality and vanity in the face of her ex-boyfriend, Taku was disappointed
- because everyone's first love is perfect, and so is Taku. He likes Rikako, who is beautiful, good at learning and strong in sports. She is the goddess from Tokyo. But the goddess pretended to be cute in front of her ex-boyfriend. So so disappointed.
He was beaten twice at the same time, but Takuya's reaction was very calm
- the same, Takuya felt guilty. As Rigazi said before, you are really kind to your friends. Because of the fetters of friendship, Tuo dare not dare to pursue love bravely. Even when the girl she likes encounters difficulties, she chooses to stand by and watch. So probably he himself felt that the slap and fist were not wronged.
...

The film presents a subtle and ignorant youthful love.
Many of Taku's actions and reactions are subconscious rather than deliberate.
He likes Rigazi, but chooses to passively interact with Rigazi when Rigazi seeks help from him, or when a specific event occurs. He has never launched a passionate pursuit, but has always taken this implicit method to find a small outlet for his emotions.
Another reason may be that he does not know how to make decisions in friendship and love, and perhaps, he has not thought about making decisions. This is Takuya's ignorant love in his youth, so time has changed, seeing Li Jiazi on the platform and thinking of the past, he has a clearer and clearer conclusion - ah, (I liked her back then) I still like it (now) she.

╮(╯▽╰)╭ This is an alternative movie that does not express love through blush, confession, holding hands, and kissing. After writing this film review, I feel like I have solved the eternal riddle -_-||| But I am not happy either. I don't want to spend so many brain cells watching a "friend who has turned into a rival in love but wants to continue to maintain the relationship." The heroine is a scheming girl" story. Totally unresonant to say. . .

I like animated movies because they can create worlds that are completely different from 3D movies and can better represent things that 3D movies might not be able to.
For stories like hearing the sound of the waves, I think it might be better if presented in a three-dimensional movie. Animated movies cannot fully present the eyes and expressions of people who convey emotions. Therefore, even though the movie carefully handles many details and leaves a lot of foreshadowing, it still causes a lot of puzzling to the audience. For me, this viewing experience was not pleasant. Because the story setting itself is not worth savoring.

Of course, there are some lines that I like.
When I was young, the person I hated became my deskmate, and I didn't even want to go to school. But in the outside world, even if there are one or two people who hate it, it is nothing.
Kochi Castle, bathed in light, may seem like a waste of electricity if you watch it alone, but if you watch it with someone you like, it will definitely be beautiful.

In the end, who will answer my inexplicable question: As
mentioned at the end, Rigazi told Xiaohama that she had a person she wanted to meet in Tokyo, a person who slept in a bathtub. This shows that the trip to Tokyo has made Rigazi more favorable towards Takuya. So, why did Rigazi go to Takuya as a fellow traveler after returning to Kochi, but then spread the news that the two had spent the night together in Tokyo?
