Before we go

The English name is more sentimental, much less ambiguous than the translation of "Midnight Encounter".
At first, I watched this movie with the love and art film of Captain America. Anyway, romantic films, romantic, nonsense, and crazy, won't bother people.
But after looking at it, I found that it is not so much a love movie as it is a life fucking movie.
Love does not account for much. Although the whole film seems to be setting off an atmosphere where the hero and heroine are meant to be couples. But I feel that they are more like a pair of brothers and sisters who are sexually attractive to each other.
They have the fucking life that everyone in this world is likely to have. The girlfriend I miss in my heart ran away with someone else, and I can't forget her, I can't forget her, but when I got up the courage to find her again, she was already pregnant with someone else's child.
Leaving everything behind, believing in fate, and risking your life to be with a man who ends up having an affair. But what's even more tragic is that he still seems to want to save it because he still loves him.
They met like this, poured out their fucking life to each other, and also witnessed the most fucking moment of each other's life.
In fact, everyone has a time when they want to escape, want to run away, talk to a stranger, about those things that they don't know how to confess to the people around them.
It's like being hurt and unhappy, but not knowing what to do in the best way.
Then do something silly together, the kind that takes you out of your day-to-day life. The kind of running wild on the street at midnight, pretending to sing at other people's parties, graffiti behind decorative paintings, and finally sitting in an empty convenience store in the early morning holding a cup of cocoa and talking about the silly things of your life.
To enlighten and encourage each other, even if it is useless, it will not change anything.
Take a deep breath and say goodbye to each other.
So I'm so happy, so happy, they ended up doing nothing. Because their friendship is something more precious than the body (what literary words did I say! Cover your face!)
It is not love, and it is not born out of loneliness.
Even if it is the camaraderie of a fucking life!

"Before we go" Before we go away, before we go away and go back to our life.
Let us be happy for a short time, chat and find some spiritual comfort. Continue on the road.

In fact, I still quite like this type of film. CE really knows how to shoot himself the most beautiful.

This is close to real life. Not every encounter has to be shot. . . Quietly chatting about life and ideals, and then silently separating from two parallel lines, keeping only good memories of each other, I think it is realistic to be very good. If life is just like the first time.

Before We Go quotes

  • Brooke Dalton: I'm sure that my husband will really appreciate your helping me. It's incredibly generous of you!

Nick Vaughan: You didn't have to do that.

    [silently chucking to self]

    Brooke Dalton: What?

    [seemingly unaware]

    Nick Vaughan: The husband thing.

Brooke Dalton: Well... I didn't mean to distrust you. It's just you're being so nice!

    Nick Vaughan: ...Nice.

    [ponders the thought while smirking]

  • Brooke Dalton: It's... it's complicated.

    Nick Vaughan: Got it.

Brooke Dalton: What is that supposed to mean?

Nick Vaughan: Well... it's not rocket science.
