Nothing special, just extra long.

In 2008, the sci-fi disaster movie "The Andromeda Strain" was nothing special, but it was very long. In these 3 hours, it said many things, it was too messy, there were many side plots, and it didn't have much substantive meaning. These 3 hours are really tangled. Although the beginning goes straight to the topic, but what about family descriptions, memory killings, reporters, government shady, too many things that don’t feel very critical, can be taken over, in fact, I’m running for science fiction movies Go, it's too complicated. .
Recommendation index: ★★★ (6/10 points), I would like it more if it was shortened a bit, with more sci-fi elements and less bullshit.

It's an unexpectedly good film. Unexpectedly, it's just a TV series...a mini-series. The American TV series feel at the same level as the domestic movies. Uh, there are many clues. There are many things that I want to show. The characters are basically displayed. And love this story. I like Rick Schroder ~ you can guess all the foreshadowings~ but I have used all the foreshadowings, but the ending is a bit hasty. Nice piece. It's just that China is still black

As a TV series, five points!

The Andromeda Strain quotes

  • [last lines]

Dr. Jeremy Stone: We would seem to have been successful in the short run, but it's probably fair to say whoever it is, we've gotten their attention. What happens next is anybody's guess.

  • Dr. Angela Noyce: I think a linear time frame is a key part of what means to be human. If our really important choices could be sampled like a box of chocolates, then our decisions would lose their meaning. What would be at stake?
