Conspiracy theories are rat shit

In a movie about a midlife crisis, how can you understand Julie's "long" sitting in a morbid state of mind and body in which the mixed emotions alternate between you if you haven't experienced a certain amount of heat? How can one understand the conflict between sincere Pete's double distress and submission to true love? You are like that innocent couple, how do you know that there is another cool night across the wall?
The conspiracy theory is obviously intended to strengthen the dramatic conflict, but it is really a piece of mouse shit, destroying the overall style and atmosphere of the movie that looks calm on the outside but is actually choppy on the inside, and lowers the level of the movie by at least two notches. From a broad social pattern, the film is limited to a pair of special cases of infertility due to pregnancy failure, and the general pattern is ultimately narrow.
I haven't watched Julie's movies much, but this performance breaks through the usual impression of her acting skills in the past, which is quite amazing! The interpretation is in place, and the interpretation style has a strong European flavor, which is not bad! Pete obeyed and cooperated with his lover throughout the whole process without a deep collision between the two sides (another failure), and was willing to be a green leaf. It is also worth mentioning that the other pair of young wives turned out to be the German heroine with excellent temperament in "Inglourious Basterds" with Pitt! Everything in this film is lackluster, which is a pity!

Roland: Have a nice day...
Vanessa: I won't.
Roland: I know. Love you.
[door closes]
Vanessa: [softly] I know.

Roland: You're smiling.
Vanessa: [breathing shakily] Now my outsides match my insides.
