The memories of the four pairs of Chinese mothers and daughters, the older generation recalls the tragic fate before leaving China, while the daughters are about the emotional journey of a new generation of Americans. Emotional estrangement is always incomprehensible to each other. With the gradual convergence of memories, the deep emotions flowing in the depths are slowly presented, and family love has become the theme of the film. What is lacking is that the characteristics of the group portraits are not strong, the method of evenly distributing the scenes is not a good way, and at the same time, the story line is a bit complicated, and the emotional expression is slightly artificial.
