160 minutes of hard goods, no plot to jump

My Name is Khan, recognized as one of the top five films in India. After the 9/11 incident, Muslims were discriminated against in the United States, and the things I watched recently were always inadvertently linked to the events in Paris. The male protagonist has mild autism and has indeed embarked on the road to meet the President of the United States. This is not a simple religious film, it contains a lot of elements and the helplessness of the disadvantaged. It is found that many Indian films rely on the media to solve their problems. PK is like this, uncle and little loli are like this, and Khan is like this. The film was co-produced by the United States and India and was the box office champion in 2010. It is a very comfortable movie to watch. What is commendable is that there is no music to dance in 160 minutes, and there is almost no plot to dance. The video is recommended from 4 to 4.5 stars.

The clear sense of age, the origins and transitions of individual fates, the touching main line of love, and the profound themes under the background... are all elements of the movie that I like, but the second half is too dramatic.

My Name Is Khan quotes

  • Razia Khan: Remember one thing, son. There are only two kinds of people in this world. Good people who do good deeds. And bad people who do bad. That's the only difference in human beings. There's no other difference. Understood? What did you understand? Tell me. Tell me

Rizwan Khan: Good people. Bad people. No other difference.

  • Fund Raiser Receptionist: For dinner with the president is $500 you know?

    Rizwan Khan: That's... that's $500

Fund Raiser Receptionist: What church are you from?

    Rizwan Khan: Church? Church?

Fund Raiser Receptionist: This is a Christian's only event.

Rizwan Khan: But... but it says it's a fund raiser for the draught in Africa.

Fund Raiser Receptionist: For Christian's honey.

    [Giving the money back]

Rizwan Khan: Honey, honey keep it. For those who are not Christian in Africa.
