It's been more than half a month since I watched it, and I still remember only the pedophile character line. The extramarital affairs and idealized elopement caused by the unfortunate marriage of the male and female protagonists are so boring that even the plot for satire does not seem painful or itchy. On the contrary, the seemingly branch line of the resigned policeman with a violent sense of justice and the pedophile makes people feel full of tension. The audience is constantly changing their three views, and their views on the two are floating around.
The whole scene is so simple that it makes people feel that there will always be a plot to happen. The narration is the biggest bug in my opinion. It is obvious that the background and inner drama of the characters that can be unfolded in the camera can be directly spoken, which really destroys the language of the film. In addition, the villains are played by husband Kate and Bellucci. The breadwinner is also too thin. The female lead's reading club inserts Madame Bovary's passages quite bluntly, and the excitement of the male lead's rugby game cannot be felt through the camera (think it is caused by the lack of soundtrack).
After the whole scene, the contrast between the quietness from the beginning to the end, the grim face of a pedophile, and the shocking ending is so stark that it probably won't go away for a long time.
