I recommend this film not only because of its good music, but more importantly, it describes a group that is basically ignored in today's society - the family of the murderer in the murder case of college students. No one would have imagined that their children would go down a road of no return. After thinking about it deeply, they did not understand where their education went wrong, and would unconsciously take part of the fault on themselves. But more likely is that they don't know how to face this society, and feel that they are being casted by the shadow of a murderer. At the beginning, the movie didn't tell the audience that Josh was the murderer, and I just thought that Josh's parents and girlfriend Sang Xin were too sad to get out of the shadows. At the end, the director told everyone that there was a deeper reason why Josh's father became like this. In fact, the film tells the story of how a murderer's father relied on his son's music to redeem himself.
Many comments were focused on why Josh wanted to kill, and they asked and answered themselves that it was caused by the disharmony between father and son, which is enough. . . The director didn't tell you why he murdered, which means that this is not a gangster movie or a suspense movie, and it means that they want you to focus on the issue of post-disaster psychological rescue. So many college students commit suicide after the incident. At most, the police uncle can only rationalize the murderer's character and daily life, etc. After the report is published, people often don't know what the facts are, just like the owner of the musical instrument store said. "i only know what i read". No matter what Josh's reason is for killing people, although I think he is an artist, we should focus on the issue of "post-disaster reconstruction" first. It took Josh's father 3 years to come out, still relying on his son's music and the stalking of the afro.
The name Rudderless unpiloted is very appropriate. The road of life is originally unpiloted. To borrow Qu Yuan's words: The road is long and long, and I will seek it up and down.
