The film revolves around several couples in the town, and they are intertwined.
Morgan Freeman's son died of a drug overdose, but he's always been a good, perfect image to his parents. As a professor, Freeman couldn't accept this reality. He struggled with why he didn't detect the signs and signs in advance, and he didn't have the courage to go back to the school to teach. His wife accompanies him silently, comforting each other with the pain of losing a child. At the end of the movie, Oscar dies, Chole is pregnant, and Freeman considers Chole his daughter. This request was made by Chole in the past. At that time, Freeman thought that Chole took pity on himself and his wife, but did not agree. I think, in the last two episodes of recognizing my daughter, what I want to express is that helping others is actually helping myself.
The protagonist is one of Freeman's best friends, Bradley, who runs a coffee shop and is loyal to his wife and love. The first wife drinks coffee with an opponent (a woman) after a baseball game, and is killed. Their seduction, Bradley, as her husband, was by their side completely unaware, but Freeman had sensitively discovered this from the two women staring at each other. The second wife is a real estate agent and the third party of another family. Because the man left in a hurry after being gentle, she felt resentful. When she recommended a house to Bradley, she quickly fell in love and met Bradley. Deli married. At the wedding, she hesitated when the priest asked if she would, but eventually said "I do". Bradley noticed her hesitation and asked why, and was put off, Bradley didn't think much about it. When the second wife's ex-lover is single again, the second wife rekindles her old relationship. Bradley was hurt once again, and he walked the dog every day to heal the wound, but when he accidentally saw his second wife being intimate with his lover, the emotional wound he thought had healed reappeared, almost almost. Despair and self-harm. But after self-mutilation, he finally met a woman who was truly in harmony - the female doctor who bandaged him, who was equally loyal to love, and finally came together (in the end, a happy ending).
Oscar, a Bradley employee, falls in love with his girlfriend, Chole, as they look at each other in a cafe window. Life is very hard. When the wizard told Chole that Oscar would not live long and advised her to give up her relationship, Chole went back and married Oscar and became pregnant. When Oscar suffered a heart attack while playing football, his friends rushed to rescue him and drove him to the hospital, but he was struck by a strike on the way, and his car and life were blocked on the road. The sadness of helplessness and fate arises spontaneously as I photograph the road blocked by vehicles and marching people from above.
The director or the screenwriter has several points of view that are worth recalling.
One is that there are traces of whether a person loves each other or does not love each other, but in most cases, the parties will ignore it.
Second, it is right to follow your true heart and love each other bravely. Bradley's first two wives betrayed the marriage, but the movie did not accuse them and arranged a happy ending, and Bradley is still good friends. Tell people that it is not wrong to be together because of love, and to be separated (or betrayed) because of not love, and it is right to choose to be with the person you love.
Third, can people who love each other stay together forever? uncertain. But you can't be pessimistic because of this, and don't dare to love, grasp the moment well, cherish the moment, it's worth it.
Every film Morgan Freeman has starred in or starred in seems to be a classic. It is recommended to watch it quietly when you are alone.
