While watching this movie, the scene of my relationship with my mother kept flashing in my mind: constantly arguing, reconciling, arguing again, reconciling... and so on. But even so, we still depend on each other and support each other. "Mummy" is still a movie about the relationship between mother and son, but it clearly sees the growth of this talented young man. The exposure of sexual orientation has been diluted, the relationship between mother and son has become more complex and sharp, and the respective character flaws of the three protagonists have been highlighted. The signature slow motion and MV-style soundtrack still exist but are used just right... It is a rare masterpiece, and it also makes I have more expectations for this young talent.
