In contrast, the Sense 8 is a lot like Lost, and in some ways even identical. From a technical point of view, the various flashbacks that Lost is good at appear frequently in this play, and the stories about each person's past and present are also very similar to Lost. In terms of plot, people in Lost crash into a desert island and become a special group of people. In Sense 8, these 'mutants' are also a group of people with special skills. They all have their own different occupations and corresponding skills, and they all use these skills to survive in desperate situations, and they will fight in groups when they are unfavorable to the enemy. Similarly, these people in the two dramas have a painful past that cannot be looked back. In Lost, Kate has an asshole father, which corresponds to the German brother. Jack has a father who has a good reputation in the professional field but was destroyed by himself. Corresponding to Chicago police, the Korean girl in Lost has limited marriage and corresponds to an Indian girl, and Sawyer, who makes a living by cheating, can also correspond to another Mexican deep-closet handsome man who makes a living by cheating.
Coincidentally, both Lost and the two Korean girls in this play have a rich father, and it is even more coincident that the names of the two are actually called Sun... (So the rich second-generation girls in South Korea are all Sun Lu) No. I know if the driver sisters and brothers deliberately paid tribute to Lost. The actor who played Sayid in Lost also played Jonas in this play.
In terms of theme, the core of Lost is self-redemption, and I personally think that the theme of this play is also redemption related (at least save your life 233).
To sum up, I think Sense 8 can be said to be an R-rated Lost with a strong LGBT style and eroticism. Of course, it is definitely better than Lost in terms of soundtrack, scenery, etc. I hope this drama can reach the height of Lost, at least Let the driver sister and brother stop flop.
My humble opinion, don't spray if you don't like it.
