lovely and amazing life

After watching "Manhattan," I began to take a serious look at Woody Allen and the coherent things in his variegated work.

Woody Allen is confirmed to be a genius who communicates and shares his meticulous observation and thoughtful thinking about life on the big screen through humor, irony and banter. Woody's films are like a refreshing, sweet beer on a hot summer day, and he uses laughter to reconcile audiences with their tedious lives.

Life and humanity are like a Rubik's Cube in Woody's hands, and he's a master at knowing its mysteries. Whatever he does with this Rubik's Cube makes you think, oh, that's just how life is.

Comments on "Manhattan": We think we are rational, but we are often emotional; we think we are mature, but our words and deeds are actually very naive; we think we see through love, but in fact we are all fools. Knowing this, it's hard not to smile.

Manhattan quotes

  • Yale: You know we have to stop seeing each other, don't you.

Mary Wilke: Oh, yeah. Right. Right. I understand. I could tell by the sound of your voice on the phone. Very authoritative, y'know. Like the pope, or the computer in 2001.

  • Isaac Davis: You know what you are? You're God's answer to Job, y'know? You would have ended all argument between them. I mean, He would have pointed to you and said, y'know, "I do a lot of terrible things, but I can still make one of these." You know? And then Job would have said, "Eh. Yeah, well, you win."
