This is a delicate drama, perhaps more accurately described as ethical piece. A pair of loving couples, their own derailment psychological process. Detailed analysis, introspection, rhetorical questioning, deep thinking, worth thinking about.
In the traditional sense, marriage is a siege, a long-term endurance. What can maintain a marriage is love, or the shackles of responsibility, or the shackles of conscience.
