I just posted a short comment:

I haven't watched it for two or three months, and I thought it was a family ethics romance film or a boring literary film when I saw the title. Just watched it today to clear it up. As a result, I couldn't help crying at first, and then I had to hold a roll of toilet paper. This has to be the most touching movie I've seen this year. It's true that I cried from beginning to end.

Then I saw other comments, those who claimed that "China and the West are different", suddenly found that according to the viewpoint of [some] [Chinese people], I should be completely "Westernized".

In fact, when I watched it, I silently thought that my parents and some "Chinese couples" were definitely not like this. And they would definitely accuse it. At least they'd be absolutely perplexed that way. I am very very very very very very very very very lucky that I can get rid of the shackles brought by [the so-called] [Chinese culture], I can only say this.

Unlike other romance films, this one seems to me to have almost nothing fictional and exaggerated. Many films need brainstorming or explanation before they feel "can" and "moved". But it's so realistic and so real. Every detail touches the heart. The actor's acting skills are amazing. Looking at their eyes, I seem to see my own life in old age. Of course I'm not saying it's exactly in line with my life, but the spirit, which I totally "empathize with". I can't help but imagine that it was the same when I was old. I really haven't been so moved for a long, long, long time. It's so rare that seeing a movie connects me to my own life. A lot of movies are too fake and too fake. After watching most of the so-called romantic dramas, I will only have the opposite feeling, that is, exclaiming "Damn, so the only purpose of watching a movie is to make myself feel how wonderful my life is!" - but this film does not. It made me realize again how precious time is! ! Cherish the short time that is not aging yet! ! !
