This is a passage that seems reasonable, but doesn't resonate much with me. I saw how the father in the movie couldn't extricate himself from the pain of bereavement, like the walking dead, or how, by coincidence, he began to regain his vitality and radiate the brilliance of life. I understand the meaning of that sentence. I also understand the proper attitude in the face of despair in life.
The book says: "We want to tell those who are desperate that it doesn't matter what we expect from life, it matters what life expects us to do. Stop asking what the meaning of life is and see yourself as People who are questioned by life - every hour of the day. The ultimate meaning of life is to take responsibility, to find the right answers to the questions, and to complete the tasks that it constantly sets for everyone."
