"Soul Men", translated into Chinese as "Soul Singer", is directed by Malcolm D. Lee and starring Samuel L. Jackson. The band was originally composed of three people, and they were once shining stars in the music world, but the lead singer went solo, the band collapsed instantly, and the fates of the three were very different. The lead singer continued his career as an artist, while the other went to sea to become a businessman. Although he made a small profit, the business was harvested by his nephew. Samuel had a bad fate, squatting in prison, working underworld, and living in the toilet! However, the early death of the lead singer also made them feel that the world should be viewed in the way of "there is often no desire to see the wonders, and there is often a desire to see the beauty", so they began to embark on the journey of mourning the lead singer!
I don't know music, but the black tunes in the film have been flowing, from the country tune to the elegance of Madison Gardens, they have been using the unique 70's Funk and Soul dance music and the very infectious Bass Line to show them The soul of music! The old-fashioned dance steps and the old-fashioned body show us an immortal and endless legend of a generation! However, there is still a gap between the actors and the real singers. Samuel is acting with his heart, but he has no "heart" in singing. Overall, he will give three stars!
