poetic dream

When the movie reached the last second, I couldn't help but pull back the timeline to see the scene where Bambi's mother kept shouting to make Bambi run faster in the snow.
Winter is coming to an end. On a small piece of land, light grass grows on the snow-covered soil. Mom called Bambi, who had been starving for a long time, with joy, and they enjoyed this sudden surprise.
What a happy thing! Spring is coming soon.
Mom suddenly raised her head vigilantly. Spring is here, and so are humans with guns.
Running...
fleeing...
Mom eagerly said "don't look back" to Bambi before the gunshots remembered, then Bambi ran all the way home, when he turned around and proudly said "we make it, mother" but Mom is no longer there.
The snow suddenly thickened, and the wise old deer appeared in front of Bambi, told him the cruel truth, and said to him, "Come with me." At the end of this scene, in the vast snow, Bambi was walking a few steps. He turned around and took a look, then continued to walk forward.
Maybe this is a scene that often appears in movies, TV shows, and even in real life. A child who was supposed to live a happy life suddenly lost a loved one... But in this film, the director played it so quietly and completely , we don't even see Bambi's mother lying in a pool of blood. He made this life-giving fairy tale beautiful from beginning to end, and even the brutal scene where the entire forest was burned by fire made people feel the irresistible exuberance of life because of the running Bambi.
In the movie, when the winter is completely over, the little animals are all in love. At the end, the little animals in love are still together, and they also have cute babies.
I love fairy tales and every story with a happy ending. The soulful Bambi appeared in this film in 1942. In the short 100 minutes of absence, children can endlessly enjoy this poetic dream.

Bambi quotes

  • Thumper: Whatcha gonna call 'im?

Bambi's Mother: Well, I think I'll call him Bambi.

Thumper: Bambi... Yep, I guess that'll do all right.

  • Flower: [about two birds fluttering around] Well! What's the matter with them?

Thumper: Why are they acting that way?

Friend Owl: Why, don't you know? They're twitterpated.

    FlowerThumperBambi: Twitterpated?

Friend Owl: Yes. Nearly everybody gets twitterpated in the springtime. For example: you're walking along, minding your own business. You're looking neither to the left, nor to the right, when all of a sudden, you run smack into a pretty face. Woo-woo! You begin to get weak in the knees. Your head's in a whirl. And then you feel light as a feather; and before you know it, you're walking on air. And then you know what? You're knocked for a loop, and you completely lose your head!

    Thumper: Gosh. That's awful.

    Flower: Gee whiz.

    Bambi: Terrible!

Friend Owl: And that ain't all. It can happen to anybody. So you'd better be careful.

    [points at Bambi]

Friend Owl: It could happen to you...

    [points at Thumper]

    Friend Owl: ...and you, and...

    [Flower looks at Owl shyly]

Friend Owl: Yes, it could even happen to you!

Thumper: Well, it's not gonna happen to me.

    Bambi: Me neither.

    Flower: Me neither.
