The little boy in the movie is an amazing character. He's the only human in that danger zone in the movie. He is a kind-hearted child who takes the initiative to help the protagonists. But I don't know if he will become another "devil" in this place when he grows up, "helping" an innocent person to fall into a trap.
The deaths of the characters in this film stem from the overzealousness of the heroine Erin. If she didn't get out of the car to ask the girl, she didn't take the girl into the car, and she didn't stubbornly think that the girl's body should not be left in the wilderness. . . Everything will not be like this. The character at the beginning of the film is very annoying to me, but the sensual psychology of the women portrayed also contrasts with the male characters in the film. But at the end of the movie, the scene where Erin takes a little baby away is a relief. If not, maybe he will become the next "little boy".
There are some contradictions in the portrayal of characters in the film. The guy with glasses seemed to be called Morgan, and in the first part of the movie, he seemed to me to be a very troublesome, grumpy, selfish, but sensible guy. He refused to carry the girl walking on the road, and proposed to leave the girl's body behind, claiming that he would leave early regardless of Temper, all for himself and to preserve his name. However, he later stepped forward to become Erin's shield. Maybe it's partly because Erin found him and took him away, but the sudden "man" also doesn't quite fit his character.
He also admits that the film has a lot of wonderful things. The unexpected horror is vividly expressed in the film. The whole movie brings the audience a momentary small joy followed by a big panic. (It's just for the plot needs, of course.) When the "real" police arrived, I knew he was definitely not a good guy, but I thought maybe he would suddenly let go of them, not that he was actually a guy in the plot Villain. Besides, the zone is enveloped in a strange aura, and no one is to be trusted. This also makes the horror element of the film rise a lot.
I have to admit that you can guess the ending after watching the beginning of the movie. The protagonist's halo is too obvious. In contrast, "Chainsaw" is full of surprises.
