"I Love You Here" by Neruda

I love you here
In the dark pine forest, the wind unties itself
The moon glows like a phosphorescence on the floating water
Day , day after day, chasing each other

Snow flutters in a dance in the wind
A silver seagull from the west Slipping down
Sometimes a ship, high stars

Oh, the black cross of the ship
Lonely
Sometimes I wake up in the morning and my soul is still wet
Far away , the ocean rings and echoes
This is a port
I love here You

I love you here and the horizon hides you abruptly
In these cold things I still love you
Sometimes my kisses travel on these heavy ships
Crossing the ocean never stops

I think I'm forgotten like these Broken anchors moored
at dusk
These piers look so bleak
I'm tired of this starving life
I like what I don't have, you're so far away
My boredom argues with the slow twilight
But the night comes and it begins I sing
The moon turns its dreamy wheel

Look at me with your eyes, the biggest stars
Because I love you, pine trees in the wind
Will sing your name with their steel needles
