It is still the fresh and healing Ghibli style. There was not a single bit of depression during the entire movie. The bright rural scenery, the continuous green grass, and the beautiful large wetland with a cool atmosphere, when I look back now, it is like a cool wind blowing through people's hearts, which is very comfortable.
A good work always impresses and always brings something to mind. Marnie and Anna are obviously grandchildren in such a special bad situation, but they became a pair of good friends. However, I personally feel that the relationship between the two protagonists is very ambiguous, and some plots are not so natural.
A reluctant trip to the countryside reveals the secret of Anna's life experience, but there is a touching story behind the meeting of the two girls. The first lady in the story, Hisako, eventually becomes an important figure in solving the mystery. Anna's bluish pupils are full of hints from the beginning, and this film even has some suspenseful colors. As Ghibli's last work, I think he is qualified.
