Biandilian: Home and Country Feelings and Fragrance with Red Sleeves

When Miss Aisi and the little general were looking at the sea, the pan-blue picture was full of tenderness and hope. The Ku Klux Klan overthrew Lynch's tyrannical fantasy and won back dignity and honor for white people. They carried the flaming cross torches, covered the evil white cloth, and rode their horses for new victory and liberation.
The three-hour silent film tests one's perseverance, without the attraction of sound, the story is still told thoroughly and clearly. Griffith's iconic signature, subtitle transitions, screen color changes, and the performance of the characters' power through the back of the paper, fully express the rise and fall of the country and love.
The film does not stand on the side of any race, political party, or person. The entry of the film is a foreshadowing, introducing the political and emotional connection and division of the Stoneman family of the northern radicals and the Cameron family of the south. The film is always on the side of justice and bravery, so it murmurs for the death of Cameron's little sister, indignant for Gauss's perverted rudeness; cheers for unity, freedom, and anxiety for war. This non-stance will make the audience more objective, broader and more comprehensive.
The film does a great job of portraying the characters. Cameron's little sister is innocent and lively, even a little neurotic, it's hard not to pay attention to her. Therefore, when such an elf-like little girl jumps off a mountain and dies, it can arouse the anger and sadness of the audience. The mother is generous and strong. The war made her lose her child, and sadness became her strength. She said to the enemy guard: "I just want to see my injured child. If you want, you can drive to me. Gun." She went to plead with Lincoln to revoke the little general's hanging sentence. What is impressive is that after the reunification of North and South, Cameron was discharged from the hospital and returned home. The little sister rushed out and hugged him. Only the mother's hand appeared in the picture. But this hand fully expressed her thoughts, her tenderness.
As if to make up for Mr. Stoneman's hypocrisy, his daughter, Miss Ace, was kind and innocent. Ace is a very traditional woman, possessing the most noble qualities of grace and generosity. It's no wonder that the little general just glanced at the crowd one more time, and he couldn't forget her face again. Lynch and Stoneman have a very interesting point. Lynch is a half-blood. He is ambitious to build a black empire, but he wants a white lady as his queen. Stoneman hooks up with his black maid.
Politicians are good at dancing and working hard, and it is often the innocent people who bear the consequences of competing for advantages and disadvantages. The torrent of the times is controlled by the tide, and it is useless to run after others forever. People should be their own gods. When the newspapers about Lincoln's assassination ran out, old Cameron couldn't help asking himself: Our best friend is gone, what should we do? Where there is killing, there is resistance. When the black people became increasingly tyrannical and arrogant, the Ku Klux Klan, which was popular with the people, was born, and its organizational team was mature and invincible. In the expected finale, the talent and beauty combine with swords, and the new party has also opened a new situation.

The picture of the movie is yellowish, reddish, or bluish, but it does not affect the narrative of the story, but plays a role in rendering the atmosphere. In the war, the screen is always covered with pink, which is the blood and anxiety of war. The rhythm of the film is a little slow, and there are many unnecessary repetitions. For example, there is too much ink on the little sister Cameron, and her unnaturalness will easily make people feel disgusted. Little General Cameron went to the river to look for his little sister, but the Ku Klux Klan didn't arrive to rescue Miss Aisi.

Griffith is amazing. My generation sighs and sighs. I know that the butterfly is in Kunpeng, and the shrimp is in the distance of Jiaolong. Only by bowing down and picking up the wisdom of the predecessors to complete myself can I live up to it.
