mess

I don't understand it, I really don't understand it. The information I consulted is all about psychoanalysis, simulacrum, and Hegel, but the most crucial question is not answered at all:
1. Why did Harley commit suicide twice?
2. Why did Gibarian commit suicide?
3. What prompted Chris to see Harley as a "wife" rather than a ghost?
4. The connection between Solaris's academic dilemma and Chris' mental dilemma?
5. How on earth did Tarkovsky bring the dilemma of Solaris—a mockery of anthropocentrism—to shame, love, and conscience?
Solaris itself contains too many themes, but I still can't figure out in what sense these themes coexist or conflict, and which themes are answered at the end.
------
Ah! I still want to black psychoanalysis! Damn, I also know that Harley's self-recognition process is very lacan! I also know that the ocean is like a real world with absolute otherness! From the perspective of "gazing" alone, I can pull out what lascivious superego adds, what Hegel's rebellion, a lot, and nothing! But you stop and don't go, can we still talk about life?
Heart hurts.

review. The original author Lyme: "Lao Tzu's "Solaris" was made by this bastard as "Crime and Punishment"." For this sentence, I also want to give the movie five stars.

There's no need to understand his intentions, no need to compare Lyme's novel, just enjoy the composition.

  • Dr. Sartorius: You've got a superb specimen.

    Kris Kelvin: That's my wife.

Dr. Sartorius: Wonderful. Perfect. Then take a blood sample from your wife.

    Kris Kelvin: Why?

Dr. Sartorius: It'll sober you up a bit.
