The remnants of the Roman army, under the circumstance that the Parthian army was besieged and blocked and had no way to return to the country, went to the Central Asian plateau, tore a hole in the slack eastern defense line, and defected to Zhizhi. In 36 BC, Gan Yanshou, the Protector of the Western Regions of the Western Han Dynasty, and Chen Tang, the deputy captain, led more than 40,000 soldiers to crusade against Zhizhi Shanyu, and when they fought in Zhizhi City (now Jambuer City, Kazakhstan), they captured this army. Crassus' younger son did not go to Central Asia with his father, but served in Caesar's army instead of his elder brother. The Parthian State was not in power at the time by the Queen, and was precisely the enemy of Crassus' expedition.
After the eldest son of Crassus in the movie seized power, he led a Roman army of 100,000 to Yanmen Pass. In fact, it is impossible for the Central Asian desert to provide enough supplies to support such an expedition of 100,000 Roman legions, mainly hoplites. It was a war that could not have happened at the time.
The Duhufu in the movie is under the jurisdiction of the Prefect, and has no military power. There are only a few members of the Hu people who are only responsible for mediation and diplomacy. In fact, the Duhufu of the Western Regions in the Western Han Dynasty was the highest administrative and military institution in the region. It was solely responsible for frontier security and had a large number of troops under its jurisdiction.
