Of course, the attitude of science towards overthrow cannot be worship

The picture and the actors are good. Maybe it would be better if the little loli was more like the original heroine. But it's not a movie that people can get to think about, it's more of a missionary movie.

However, there is no main line in this movie. If you insist, is it that scientists have discovered that there is a connection across time and space between humans with similar irises? And then prove the existence of God? Although the director uses a lot of scientific details (especially in the biological laboratory to describe the protagonist's major experimental findings in detail), I feel that the director does not believe in science, or is the kind of person who is frustrated by science, because he encounters one or two people. A problem that cannot be solved/explained by science and then comprehensively denies science, and goes to religion to the extreme. The director seems to think that the destination of scientists should also be religious, just like Newton. The director should be the kind of person with a scientific background and then religious, like Newton.

This movie is anticlimactic, you don't know what he's going to say. In my case, I just saw an extremely religious director who fears science, possibly a missionary film sponsored by the Vatican.

------------------------- I went to see the background of this film. I
was worried that it might be the screenwriter's intention. Well, don't worry about it now, screenwriter/ The script/director/producer is all him. I haven't seen any relevant scientific experience, but I started working in a film company in my sophomore year, so the director is definitely not someone with a scientific spirit, which basically matches his understanding of science.

I can't find anything else, so it can't actually be called "sci-fi". I don't understand that this film can win awards. Maybe the actors did a good job. The plot is really nothing.

Science constructed by data seems to have to be mixed with a little mystery to make life interesting? Humans really need imagination, no matter what kind of imagination it is. The unknowns are always so fascinating - even though they are often cryptic metaphysics or conspiracy theories

The content and form are similar to "Eternal Sunshine of the Beautiful Mind", the dialogue is very nerdy, and the author's film is obvious. The pace of the latter third accelerated, but the conclusion was obvious. Unfortunately, the subversion of science by faith failed to form a complete link with the subversion of faith by science. The soundtrack and visual effects are fresh and moving.

I Origins quotes

  • Ian: You live in this fairy, magical... fantasy land. It's a fucking lie, and you know it's a lie.

  • Priya Varma: You know a scientist once asked the Dalai Lama, "What would you do if something scientific disproved your religious beliefs?" And he said, after much thought, "I would look at all the papers. I'd take a look at all the research and really try to understand things. And in the end, if it was clear that the scientific evidence disproved my spiritual beliefs, I would change my beliefs."

    Ian: That's a good answer.

Priya Varma: Ian... what would you do if something spiritual disproved your scientific beliefs?
