The film was inspired by the adaptation of Ranaph Fiennes' best-selling novel The Featherman, and the story of the novel was inspired by real events. Invisibly, this seemingly typical Hollywood action film has added a lot of attention. The biggest selling point of the film comes from its strong cast: with action films such as "Two Smoking Guns", "Very Human Traffickers" series, "Rage" series, "The Expendables" and other action films, step by step from England to Hollywood's Cotai Strip Jason Statham is now another rising action star in the eyes of many Hollywood producers. This 1.8-meter-tall London tough guy is already in the limelight with his seemingly unique "non-British" acting style. There is a place in the hearts of the majority of North American audiences, and its box office appeal is even more evident; and the taller, rougher, more delicate British handsome Clive Owen has also quietly upgraded from the original "selling color" to a skilled acting. When De Niro, Statham, and Irving, the three screen tough guys, come together in one movie, it's hard not to look forward to it. But everything that Jagged Elite offers is too ordinary and simple.
This is an excellent action thriller. It relies on character and plot dynamics rather than fight scenes and headshots.
