Another weird one-man movie

I watched a wonderful movie called Locke, which is similar to the movie "Everything is Lost" drifting on the sea, at least everything is lost and there are some thrilling scenes of stormy seas, and this one is bound for London alone. The phone keeps calling in the car. It is estimated that Europe relies on such low-cost films to attract attention. People rely on creativity.
One has an affair and is happy to be a father. Complaining about his father and feeling guilty about his current wife, The nostalgia for the existing family, the commitment to the object of the encounter, the self-righteous responsibility, and the helplessness after being fired because of the trip to London, the overall image is a responsible construction engineer, although there is only one People kept on the phone, but the whole movie did not pee, and the emotions would follow the ups and downs of the protagonist.

"Locke" is definitely a textbook example of low-cost films, and it is an eye-opener for the audience. This is more like a mini-long march of a person. The movie includes those life experiences that may have changed the destiny of countless people, and completes the integration and condensation, full of emotion. It is a commendable one-man show. The excellent script is always surrounded by endless drama conflicts. It is attractive but not overly intense.

Like "Buried Alive", this is a pure one-man show. In the whole film, only Tom Hardy is driving and making calls, dealing with various business and family matters. On the bright side, we are staring at Tang Lao wet almost all the time. Unfortunately, due to sitting in the car, we can basically only see his face, his hands, his big beard and the part above the shoulders; but we can't see his thighs, his waist and his crotch.

Locke quotes

  • Ivan Locke: I want to know that I'm not driving in one direction.

  • Ivan Locke: You make one mistake, Donal, one little fucking mistake, and the whole world comes crashing down around you.
