I always felt that the plot of the movie was too idealized, and the two reconciled too quickly. Although I haven't experienced that kind of thing, but put myself in the shoes of myself, how much tolerance is needed to forgive someone who bullies you like this and who doesn't repent after so many years. Anyway, if it was me, I couldn't do it. I'd ruin the wedding; I wouldn't dissuade her if I saw her overeating in the middle of the night.
