Despite being an animated film, it's good enough to be on par with a live-action film. The character design of "Vampire Hunter D" is written by Yoshitaka Amano, whom I admire very much. It is a fusion of delicate and freehand style. To be honest, there are countless cartoons with vampires as the theme, but "Vampire Hunter D" has always been regarded as a classic by everyone, and Yoshitaka Amano is not without credit. Although the plot has some notable points, the animated film is ultimately eye-catching with the beauty of the picture, especially the lonely castle in the film, the faint sound of the organ, the nobles in black robes, and the anti-blood , which has become a classic vampire image in people's minds.
