interpretation of life

After watching it many times, I was very excited about Fisher and Ben's "fight of wits and courage", and I was also very excited about the two troubles at the Navy Bar, but each time it always brought me different thoughts and harvests are those in the movie. Human interpretation of life.
At the Maggie's bar, a mundane but philosophical line filled my mind:
"We're getting older all the time. You know what? I don't care. I mean, if the muscles are sore we've used it; if I walk now I don't move because every night I go to the one I love; I'm full of wrinkles because I've lived through countless happy days. I'm enjoying life, I drink, smoke, I live, pity, dance, Sing, sweat, and enjoy life in your own way..."
Life produces such and such traces over time, we should not be jealous of the vitality of young people, nor despise the various scars we leave. The reason why they exist is not to slowly tear our lives apart, but to witness a life that belongs to us, is brilliant, and is full of experiences and harvests. Don't deliberately compete or be overly attached, because it is easy to miss the beauty that belongs to different periods.
In the final moments of the film, Ben uses his own life to teach Fisher the meaning of giving up and choosing. This is not so-called ruthlessness, but a responsibility and sanity. Sometimes we get entangled in many things in front of us, and it may not be a bad thing to give up the other and choose one. We will be reluctant to part, but because of this reluctance, it is easy to miss the most important things, or even nothing in the end. At this time, we need a kind of faith and determination, choose to give up, choose to continue, and let life continue to move forward where it should not stop.
For me, a movie, a philosophy, may accompany me for a lifetime and use it for a lifetime.

  • Jake Fischer: You gotta make a move!

    Billy Hodge: I can't. I get nervous.

Jake Fischer: You're tellin' me you can jump outta helicopters but you're afraid to go talk to a girl?
