An example of this type of subject matter that I think is well done is FRINGE (Blurred Archives/Edge Crisis), which was very popular in the past two years. No matter the non-invasiveness, plot, surprise, picture, production and connotation, it will kill THE STRAIN in seconds, okay? Is the first quarter of the first season a tribute to FRINGE (or a direct imitation)? To say it nicely, THE STRAIN is the "collector" of several American dramas with similar themes. To say it badly, just copy this set, copy the other set, and then put it on the zombie theme of the bad street. . . Are you bothered? Resolutely give up!
