Movie reviews and if I change the plot

It's a pity to see this movie after 19 years, but I can't blame it all because I was only 5 years old at the time. I also stumbled across this film just after watching "The Silent Earth" and found the relevant movie link.
Stephen King's name got me excited at the beginning of the film, and indeed it was enough to arouse my desire. However, the title "Time Crack" has serious spoilers, which greatly reduces the suspense in the early part of the film, but it is also enough to support people to watch the film seriously.
From the setting of several characters, it can be seen that the whole film has a rigorous logic, and everything is to complete the story setting for the screenwriter. The captain is the first necessary character, the reason for the death of his ex-wife, support the captain to board the plane, and the captain does not drive, supports the captain to sleep, and thus supports the captain to survive, so that the story can continue.
Agents are heroes. Mystery novelists are puzzle-solving characters. The little girl is a supernatural figure, a prophet who surpasses all adults, a bug figure, and lays the foundation for the weird atmosphere. The villain of Toomey, but I feel that the treatment of Toomey is too cruel and discounts the image of the little girl in the audience. Others are auxiliary characters. The plot is procrastinated in some places, there are some screen bugs, and the special effects are not very good, but the logic is relatively strict.

Plot change 1: Since the ending is happy, let him be completely happy. The little girl prophesied that Toomey would save everyone, but Toomey was not eaten. It was the little girl who used an illusion to wake up Toumi. Toumi boarded the plane. When someone finally needed to sacrifice, Toumi stood up and sacrificed herself to save everyone. In the end, the hero hugged the beauty back, and everyone went back. It was time to be together. The little girl had her eyes cured and her supernatural powers disappeared. Live a happy life.

Plot change two: Don't have a happy ending. The people on the plane suddenly found themselves in an infinite loop of "Terrorist Cruises" style. Everyone on board committed suicide. Or more sharply, after committing suicide, it will return to normal after a while. In fact, they have gone back, but they just need to wait for a while. However, they committed suicide prematurely in despair, and several corpses appeared out of thin air on the ground, similar to the sad ending of "The Mist".

Plot change three: This is my bullshit. At first Toomey said he lost $43 million, and Toomey said it would be great to go to Boston. I watch suspense movies and every sentence is very sensitive, I didn't expect him to just resign. According to my nonsense idea, the whole movie was changed to only suspense and non-sci-fi. The whole is a game set up by Toomey. In order to avoid losing 43 million US dollars, he asked the little girl to help as a master of illusions, and created a flight accident, but he did not want to kill too many people. As he said, the plane stopped halfway and let some people leave with only a few witnesses. The captain was premeditated by him to stay on the plane. Everything is an illusion, including Toomey's escape halfway, everyone thought he was eaten, and the whole plot changed. At the end, the last five people returned to reality, and the novelist found that the little girl's body was missing, and seemed to understand something.

The Langoliers quotes

  • Bob Jenkins: Let's say that every now and then a hole appears in the stream of time. Not a time-warm. A rip. A time rip. A rip in the central fabric.

Don Gaffney: That's the craziest thing I ever heard of!

    Craig Toomy: Amen!

Bob Jenkins: Mr. Gaffney, the situation we're in right now, this is crazy. So let's say that such rips do occur every now and then. It would be similar to rare weather phenomenons that are reported. Upside-down tornadoes, circular rainbows, daytime starlight.

Captain Brian Engle: The aurora borealis.

Bob Jenkins: [Bob looks to Brian in surprise] What?

Captain Brian Engle: There was an aurora borealis over the Mojavi Desert when we left LAX. We were supposed to fly right into it.

Bob Jenkins: Then that's it. An auroa over the desert. That strengthens my point. If we were to fly into that, and it was a time-rip then that means we're no longer in our own time, ladies and gentlemen.

  • Don Gaffney: [listening to Jenkins' time rip theory] That's the craziest thing I've ever heard.

    Craig Toomy: Amen!
