I thought it would be very high

Occasionally I saw some propaganda, and I felt that it was not bad. The background was war again, so I should have some ideas. But when I slowly entered the movie, I was disappointed. I thought it was a very high-quality movie and gave it to me after watching it. My feeling is that the narrative process is like a running account. It is better to say that it is a treasure hunt than to travel through Europe in the ruins.
Through the film, we can see that the war was not good at that time. Although the German army was defeated, the danger was still there. In this aspect, the small battle at the airport seemed a bit pale, and the pleasure of war could not be seen. Great, with such a theme, the war was not filmed, and the beauty of art was not shown. The movie did not unfold the content well. I also watched some chapters of the original book at night. Movie. For the title of "Allied Treasure Team" in mainland China, I prefer the name "Monuments Guardian". The name is more suitable for the expression and original meaning of the film. Maybe a name like Treasure Hunter can better attract attention and make the movie watch. Go to the cinema to watch.
Feelings in one sentence: let's look at the original, the movie wants to express very limited.

There's only a few dark humours to watch, oh, and a bunch of cast. The story is flat and light, blindly sentimental, and really boring. All the treasure hunts have no dramatic conflicts as if they were captured. So what kind of treasure are we watching?

It's too boring to shoot and waste a dog ticket for an actor.

The Monuments Men quotes

  • Walter Garfield: I've never killed anyone before.

    Jean Claude Clermont: It's easy.

    Walter Garfield: Have you?

Jean Claude Clermont: I'm about to.

  • Frank Stokes: I was told that before you were sent here, you ran one of those camps.

Colonel Wegner: Who told you that?

    Frank Stokes: A little bird.

Colonel Wegner: You're not Jewish, lieutenant?

    Frank Stokes: No.

Colonel Wegner: Then you should thank me.

Frank Stokes: You know, I don't smoke either. My first cigarette.

    [lights cigarette]

Frank Stokes: But I want to remember this moment. I'm gonna go home soon. Got a nice apartment in New York on the Upper West Side. There's a deli down the street called Sid's. Every morning, I walk there and I get a cup of coffee and a bagel, and I read the newspaper. I think about it every day here. It'll be the first place I go when I get stateside. I'm gonna be sitting there, eating one of Sid Meldman's toasted onion bagels and reading a tiny article in the New York Times, page... 18... that says you, Colonel Wegner, were hanged for your crimes you committed during the war and you were buried in an unmarked grave. And then I'll think about my cigarette... and I'll think about you sitting there with that stupid look on your face. Then I'll finish my coffee, leave the paper for Sid to wrap fish in. I'll never think of you again.
