road to redemption

I prefer the name Redemption to gangster thugs. David's way of redemption.
When I first saw the movie, I didn't start watching it from the beginning. I saw a black man pointing a gun at a woman and asking her to breastfeed a baby. Violence and grief fill the whole picture, and I resolutely decide to watch it from the beginning. This movie really didn't disappoint me, everyone's shots were deeply fascinated by me, and I didn't want to miss it at a glance.
The opening scene is in a crowded subway car. Four people surround a man with knives to rob him. The man whispers and is stabbed deep in the stomach by Tsotsi! Then the four robbed the money and left. Seeing this, I was deeply frightened, not only because of this vile robbery incident, but also because of the indifference and ruthlessness in Tsotsi's eyes. What kind of person has such indifference and cruelty? Then his companion also felt that he had gone too far, accused him and pursued his past. He even rushed up without saying a word and beat his companion seriously. Then he ran away in the anger of everyone. In the end, he went to rob a rich woman, not only robbed the car, but also shot and wounded her. But accidentally grabbed a baby. The three events in the single title show that Tsotsi is an out-and-out thug who usually makes money by doing illegal things, ignores life, and has an unknown past. If nothing else, this person will spend his whole life in a knife and gun, and there will be no good results. He is just someone who is immersed in hell and struggling to live.
But this accident really happened, it was this unexpected baby. His appearance disrupted the rhythm of Tsotsi's life, and he made Tsotsi begin to think about life. How to live. Tsotsi set out to find meaning in life. He also reminded Tsotsi of his tragic childhood when he was not seen by others, his mother was seriously ill, lacked his mother's care, and had a violent and alcoholic father. So he escaped and his childhood was over. He started a thug life just to support himself. But the appearance of the little baby made him seem to have one more choice. He seemed to see the same young and ignorant self as before. This time, though, he could choose how he wanted the baby to live. He tried to do everything that would make the baby better, even cutting ties with his past life at one point. Tsotsi began to take on the responsibility of nurturing the baby, began to understand the responsibility of being a human being, and began to gradually respect life. But it's not enough, because for Tsotsi, in addition to feeding the baby, doing these things is more to make up for the lack of his childhood, just Tsotsi's selfish decision. Choosing to keep the baby by your side and letting him grow up without maternal love is undoubtedly a serious lack. Tsotsi actually understood this fact the most, because he also grew up in such an environment, so he hesitated and struggled under the persuasion of black women. True maturity is when Tsotsi chooses to return the child to his biological parents, chooses what is best for the child, and takes responsibility for himself. The road to redemption is truly complete. The birth of life often represents hope, and often causes others to think about the meaning of life. But when I become an adult, I often forget what life should be like. I may have been hit a lot and become timid, so I don’t dare to pursue and change, and I live my life in a daze. In fact, no matter what time or situation, as long as we dare to make changes, our lives will return to the normal track.
A lyric I've always liked: "You'll be bigger than you ever imagined."
