Do you remember when your parents sat by the bedside and told one after another legendary adventure stories for themselves? One after another legends have accompanied us through the most immature childhood. You may become the hero who kills the dragon in your dream, or you may become the knight who hoes and uprights. I believe you must also listen. After the story of "Jack and the Beanstalk", today we will talk about this adaptation of the fairy tale "Jack the Giant Catcher".

This movie is a love story between Diaosi and Bai Fumei. The two of them also listened to the story of the giant when they were young, but it is a pity that one is in the thatched cottage and the other is in the palace. A chapter of a legendary story. When they grew up, one of them was a princess and the other was a tenant, and then a series of stories happened (ps: I won't do too much spoilers here), and finally Jack joined this life-and-death battle to stop the giant's footsteps and defeated the unstoppable. The giants won the princess's heart and lived happily together, but it's good that it ended here. I have to cut my perspective to the modern day. A child watched the crown for a long time and didn't leave, but changed. It's the end of the giant's place in the sky, hey~ how eager the director is to make a sequel.

Movies are like fairy tales when we were young. We may not have the word diaosi in our time, but weren't we also longing for the adventure stories of such little people when we were young? Anyway, looking at it now, it is the most typical story of Diaosi's counterattack, but this movie has also made a great subversion of the original novel, and it brings more than just the story experience of "Jack and the Beanman", the special effects of the movie. On IMAX, which is cooperating with Huan Yi, it should be able to make everyone feast for the eyes. The beautiful European-style castles and the costumes of the characters in the movie have obviously been carefully produced. The town and the giant castle on the clouds will make people feel very fairy tale characteristics, and the biggest selling point should be the design of the giant, which is also the fairy tale. A powerful signboard after being subverted, but I personally feel that the giant is too disgusting, not suitable for children~ The hard injury is that there are not too many ups and downs in the plot, you can even guess what will happen in the next second, and overall it feels stable. There are some twists and embellishments, but the special effects are really good, especially the scene where the giant vine falls, and the picture of the palace being demolished. It should still be worthy of recognition. It is not as pitiful as "Zodiac". Have to adjust IMAX.

Recently, if you want to watch IMAX, this one is just fine. I don't want to say how good it is. Anyway, I personally feel that it is definitely much better than the IMAX version of "Zodiac". It is a special effect film with popcorn. Friends, it is also a good choice to have a counter-attack with the longing diaosi and relive the fairy tales of childhood. Jack the Giant Slayer quotes

  • Isabelle: You must think I'm very silly.

Jack: No. I just wish that... Well, earlier, at the market...

Isabelle: Thank you... for defending my honor, Jack.

Jack: Anytime. Here, I'll take your coat. And until you find your own adventure...

Isabelle: [receives a book from Jack] "The Giants of Gantua."

Jack: My father used to read that to me.

Isabelle: That was always my mother's job.

Jack: I hope you find what you're looking for, Your Highness.

    Isabelle: Call me Isabelle.

    Jack: Isabelle.

  • Elmont: Well, she's not in the house. This is the only other place she could have gone.

Crawe: If she climbed down, we would have seen her.

Elmont: [notices a footprint in the mud] She didn't climb down. She climbed up.

Roderick: Why would she do that?

    Crawe: If she were cold.

    Elmont: Or hungry.

Jack: [to himself] Or looking for an adventure.
