It's thought-provoking to see love and vulgarity

The story feels vulgar, but I don't know why, but I still occasionally think back to this story after at least a month.
So I think this story should have merit.
Here I make a conclusion.
That era. That time period. I think this story still deeply reflects that era, under the vulgar appearance. That was the age of the Enlightenment. Enlightenment is just a textbook term for us today. And going back to that era, the interaction between Enlightenment and old feudalism can be seen in the movies. To be honest, this part looks really shocking. I also had a very inspired feeling when the king was so excited to receive a signed letter of appreciation. Similar to the success of chasing stars, but in fact it feels more exciting.
Secondly, if there is Enlightenment, there is corresponding feudalism. The story also explains in more detail the operation of feudalism in Denmark at that time and its influence on ordinary citizens. That dark age is quite unimaginable for modern people who have learned humanism since childhood.
Then there is the king of Denmark, obviously not a king who is expected to be capable. But in terms of character shaping, it is reasonable and quite successful. At first you thought he was rude, and then you discovered his simplicity, and you realized that it was because of his upbringing that he was an unsound person. At the end, when he knew that he could not be a great emperor, and instead supported his son, I suddenly felt a sense of relief. A child finally grows up and becomes a sound adult. At least not to live up to the doctor's expectations of him.
In fact, the princess was immature. Unable to adjust to her husband, unable to exert influence over him in the beginning, unable to recognize her husband. To know how many powerful women dream of having such a husband and being a king? Wu Zetian can only seize power in the hands of Zhongzong, but it is impossible for Li Shimin to gain power. The truth is that the couple had their own problems, and it was society at the time that caused them problems.
Let's talk about dog blood cheating. In the eyes of the Chinese, it is simply incomprehensible. As a person who has made great achievements, you know that you must be on the cusp of the storm, and you will be criticized by many people. At that time, it must have been too late to avoid suspicion, and the doctor actually sneaked into the king's bed. No, sometimes foreigners really don't understand what they think, so I don't think it's necessary to apply Chinese theories. Betrayal is the root of the whole story. When it comes to court dramas, what the common people want to see is only the dirty history of those dignitaries, similar to the short chatter of Zhang's family and the Li family. With these common people, they also feel that the royal family is not so sacred, and even gods are a group of people. But after watching the movie, it was interesting to look back on it. The doctor shouted before he died: I am for you. The people didn't want to hear it at all, but sent the doctor to the gallows just for a scandal. The gossip at the beginning, and the heartwarming and ironic revelation at the end: Humanistic doctors don’t understand people. He doesn't understand the lower class people, he doesn't understand the petty aristocracy, he doesn't understand the royal family. Except for the metaphysical people in the Enlightenment, the people in the world understand, but he does not understand every metaphysical person. Thus his reforms suffered a complete failure.
But humanism still sowed the seeds in this practice. In the end, the queen and the emperor, who never had one heart, fulfilled the doctor's last wish with a letter and the other with their own support. This is also a consolation in another sense.
Nordic movies are as cold and crisp as always. Although the rationalization of cheating has weakened this meaning, the neat handling of the ending still reflects this advantage of Nordic movies. All in all, it's a pretty good movie as a whole.
