watching movies, understanding human nature

Watching Julia's Eyes with my husband.

The thriller, the bizarre plot is followed by an interpretation of human nature.

A poor child, the father is gone and the mother is blind. The sensible child takes care of the mother, the mother holds the child like a driftwood, and tells the child that he is nothing without his mother, an invisible person. Under his mother's psychological control, he did not dare to see people, and since then he has lost himself. When he grew up, he ran away from home.

Only by taking care of those blind women can he find the value of survival and the meaning of self-existence. When the woman being cared for had an operation on her eyes and was about to regain her sight, the meaning of his existence was gone, so he would rather stab the woman's eyes. When someone obstructs his actions, he does not hesitate to kill more people.

Behind the murderous and dehumanizing behavior, maybe what he longs for is very simple----perhaps a few words of praise and encouragement from his mother when he was a child, maybe it is the love of a woman, maybe it is the mutual companionship and warmth between people ...

Understanding the darkness is not about indulging in the darkness and succumbing to the darkness; it is about having the courage to face the darkness and the wisdom to face the darkness, but working harder to pursue light and warmth.

That's what watching horror movies is all about!

The first part is too monotonous and the murderer appears at the back. It turns out to be a psychopath caused by the shadow of childhood. Because it is too ordinary and neglected since childhood, only the blind can find comfort. Only the blind will not communicate with you based on appearance. Accept that the villain actor is very suitable for this role. I feel that a perverted murderer has such a long, seemingly ordinary but sharp eyes. The only thing that stands out is the scene where the lights are turned off

The suspense was good, but it always felt weird.

Los ojos de Julia quotes

  • Isaac: Close your eyes.

    Julia Levin: [sighs] What?

    Isaac: Close your eyes.

    [Julia closes her eyes]

    Isaac: Can you see me?

Julia Levin: Of course I can't

Isaac: Then how do you know I'm still here with you?

Julia Levin: Because I can ear you.

Isaac: What if I remain silent? How do you know I'm still here?

[Julia, still with her eyes closed, extends her arm to Isaac and touches his face]

Julia Levin: I can touch you.

Isaac: And can you smell me?

Julia Levin: [touches his lips] And kiss you.

    [they kiss]

  • Créspulo: [to Julia, about the "Invisible Man"] Be careful. The man who was with your sister had very angry eyes. He knows how to be a shadow. If someone feels invisible and is angry at the world, he can be dangerous. He has no lights. Nobody looks at him. He could sneak up on you and before you realise...
