At first I thought it was the World War II version of Ocean's Eleven, but I was a little disappointed when I looked at it, but the design of some details in the movie still took a lot of effort. Nazis, portraits in Jewish empty rooms, Christmas carols for grandpas, childish Nazi salutes, dumb thunders at Damon's feet, and red ties on the train door. These details not only deepened the theme, but also brought me a smile at the meeting and a little emotional touch.
The protection of art and culture by these "recruits" came from the conscience of the intellectuals. Just like Liang Sicheng's suggestion to the US military, the ancient buildings in Nara were preserved. Art has no borders, it is beautiful, it is pure, it belongs to all human beings.
