Digression: I saw a Hong Kong movie yesterday that was said to be quite novel in terms of marketing, and it was even more terrifying than expected. When did we start relying on gimmicks and hype from sketches to hardcover masterpieces, and inevitably get lost in it, but without any blush, we feel that "if we can achieve this point, everyone should give us a round of applause"?
Looking back at Noah Baumbach's "Frances Ha", I can't help but think: Is it really such a distant dream to start with the characters simply and attentively, allowing those people and things walking around the city to be structured and look at each other?
