It was because Nicole Kidman watched this movie. I was watching a romantic drama, but I found it rather dull after watching it. Some of the settings are suspected to exist for Nicole's acting skills, which is quite neurotic; several male actors are also blurred, and they can't remember what they look like after watching it. At the end, the ending was rushed. Nicole stood at the door and looked back in fear, wondering if she couldn't get into the room or if she didn't want to. She didn't know whether to choose a man or to be alone in the end. Anyway, it's pretty weird.
However, at the end, I finally understood the philosophical implication of this film. It seems to imply the emotional choice of a woman. When you were young, there were so many men who were very good to you that you rejected. Then, you chose the worst for yourself. a result.
The English name "the portrait of a lady" is too far-fetched to be translated as "the true color of a lady". It seems better to change it to "Portrait of a Woman" by Zweig's "Portrait of a Young Politician".
