In view of the downturn of Cage's recent films, I was very careful to watch
the scene design in the first few minutes of this film, especially It was the mayor's speech where he secretly revealed that he didn't care and didn't feel it, and the beginning of the story was relatively good. Generally, the stories of father and daughter are quite pleasing. As long as the screenwriter is a little bit realistic, there are not too many flaws. The story can be told beautifully.
As a result, 30 minutes have passed (and the whole film is only 90 minutes), and a few men are still doing nothing, so it can be expected that this film is still a bad film.
The fight in the film is completely fake, and it is basically unpretentious that you can't see in the current film. It suddenly pulls the film back to the 1980s, trying to endure the clueless narrative until the end.
Maybe the end of the film is an embellishment that the screenwriter is too sloppy for the film, and Cage should commit suicide.
