Through the 90% of the movie, we wished that the police captured the wrong person. Because we see that the retarded young man was bullied by other fellows. He stands for the weak force in the society. And we hope that the mother would find some evidence to save her son from the prison. Well. Hollywood films will satisfy such expectation that we will applaud for the mother's brave actions in the end. The great motherhood can justify the facts. But in this movie, we didn't see that result. Instead, we see the overused mother power that can destruct another person's life. It is over its boundary. It's like her misused acupuncture. She doesn't have the legal certificate for that business but she is doing it to her clients.There is a shot that after she sneaks in an apartment and finds an “evidence” of a blooded goof which belongs to his son's fellow, she carries it with her plastic glove, walking alone in the grey day. The music was full of strength as well as strange solemnness. At that moment, we respect her as a mother but we fear that is something strange going on.
