Let the past go

As a diehard fan of the master, Qijian has never dared to watch it under the harsh criticism. But today, I still watched it under the influence of gods. It really sucks! It seems that there are lines written by the screenwriter when he is half-drunk and half-awake, the director is half-dreaming and half-sleeping in the film, and the actors are half-crazy and half-stupid acting.

As a two-and-a-half-hour film, the plot is actually very simple, and most of it was explained within the first half hour. What follows is endless wrangling, lyricism, naughty love, and dizzying chaotic fights.

The art can be seen to be very attentive, the scene is beautiful, the lighting is professional, and the shape is unique. But in the face of inexplicable drag scenes (for example, the part where the horse was released did not help the plot, and the villains did not delay doing business because of chasing the horse at all) and the surprising performance was still a disadvantage.

In a nutshell, the feeling that gives me is -

advantages: the art and modeling are attentive, the story is clearly told (although the plot is not complicated), and the successful emotional sensation of the horse.
Disadvantages: The characters' emotions have no reason, everyone is like a psychopath who can break out at any time. In the plot, the drama is serious, and there are even unnecessary sex scenes to reduce the force, resulting in the loss of explosive power in the final decisive battle. The lines are too bad, and they have suffered a lot of old actors.

Speaking of his favorite characters, punk singer Guageluo performed well and styled well, but he was scrapped before he could break out. And the second senior brother played by Liming is purely a gentle favor, but he was tepid all the way to the end, neither turning nor breaking out, it was really boring. Of course, the male protagonist (the old fifth) is more boring, and he is a person with a lower sense of existence than Xinbaji.

I don't know in what state it was filmed, but it's a bit unbelievable.

PS theme song never tire of listening, as expected of Kenji Kawai.

6.3 Question: Why didn't Seven Swords capture the thief first and capture the king first, and the group attacked the beacon? Answer: Because the eldest brother Donnie Yen’s philosophy is to play ten one by one, not to mention a joint seven-on-one, he will not do it even if he is one-on-one. Only when his physical strength is lost first can he feel fair and finally make a shot. Question: Why did the eldest brother take the green pearl to find the enemy's military salary in private? Answer: Because the elder brother can't afford a pile of meal tickets for his younger brothers and younger sisters, he is planning to elope with his own woman with military pay. Question: Why didn't Qijian leave a single person to help the people of Ma Zhuang get rid of the rape? Answer: Because Ma Zhuang is under the jurisdiction of the Tiandihui, it is equivalent to a civil central agency. The central government cannot interfere with others. Therefore, even if Qijian thinks that it will be counter-killed if it fails, he can only leave. Forget it, I can’t go on, I haven’t read the original, but the plot of the movie is really bad. After that, Tsui Hark has paid more attention to the visual spectacle and further compressed the plot and characters. This has to be said to be a great pity. .
