The story in the film is like a Russian nesting doll, revealing one and another.
But I have to say that the 160-minute film is too long. It may be for details, but some scenes are not that important to the plot. The truth portrayed in
human films.
Affection between men and women, compassion for children, affection between men, and racial differences highlighted therein.
Many of them make us smile or move.
"Chocolate Giant."
Faith is
emphasized in the film. We saw the mass prayer in front of St. Anne's Church. The killing didn't begin, but the prayer was enough to provoke tears.
Statues of soldiers, crosses, are all objects that bring them faith.
Perhaps in that era, faith was the biggest driving force for them to fight.
And now we have no faith.
War
War is really cruel.
China experienced the Nanjing Massacre.
For every innocent civilian death and injury, my heart will be aching. In fact, every soldier was once a civilian.
