I haven't seen the original, so let me tell you

I've heard of the Korean version of the old boy before, but I haven't watched

the American version. Although I'm not satisfied, the plot at the beginning of the film is still passable. I

think the plot at the beginning of the film is not handled well. What the director wants to express is that the male protagonist is an out-and-out bastard in his daily life-drinking, lustful, irritable, and irresponsible, thus paving the way for future plots. The intention is good, but I don't think the actual effect is good. The lines are unknown, and the conflict is inexplicable. It may be a problem of editing. If there is a director's cut version, I think it may be better.

I was imprisoned for 20 years. Generally speaking, it's okay, but at the end of this paragraph, I think the part about the last prying brick to escape is completely superfluous. . There are at least 100 people in this private prison, and the plot shows that this prison has been in operation for a few years. This kind of place will leave you and freedom only a brick wall (or TM is a hollow brick)? There will be a dead corner of the camera for you to make small movements (this dead corner is just a coincidence or the only place to escape the Jedi)? If Fu Erdai deliberately designed him to escape and fall into the trap, that's all, but it's not, then it can only be explained that everyone knows that he was trying to escape but deliberately ignored it, which has a negative impact on the whole film. Does the structure help? No, it feels a little bit like a plot, I don't know how the Korean version behaves in this section.

Then there is the fighting scene after going out. The male protagonist just followed the TV to do fitness training and practice fighting, so he killed the Quartet and singled out dozens of personal bodyguards with strong martial arts skills in the second generation. The male protagonist is ready. The following are the copies of the spike. Oh my god, the director is a pure educationist. The common sense of practicing true knowledge has been completely subverted by the director. So is it possible to become a world champion after 10 years of boxing practice behind closed doors? Can a person go to a technical school for two years to become a senior technician? Can you be the CEO of a multinational company by staying at home and reading dozens of professional management books? However, I personally like the fighting scenes of this film very much. At least they are basically long shots. It feels very real. Unlike most of the current films, a simple punch can't wait to be expressed in ten sub-shots. Taking a shot with slow motion and special effects, it looks dazzling and gimmicky, but it's actually a fart.

As for the relationship between the male protagonist and the daughter, I think it's better. It makes people feel that it is natural (although there are assists from the rich second generation), which is much better than the inexplicable love and inexplicable hate of many commercial films. Watching other films sometimes really makes me depressed. Why do I suddenly fall in love, why do I suddenly go to bed, and why do I suddenly become an enemy? Could it be that the current view of love makes me not understand?

Although the ending was a bit abrupt, it didn't surprise people too much. Maybe there was a problem with the foreshadowing ahead. The director wanted to give people a sense of sudden realization, but for me, the reaction was: Oh, that's his daughter. Then? Then there is no more.

The acting skills of each character are still commendable. Although the male protagonist has a poker face like Stallone, he still interprets this character well. The facial details and psychological reactions are very detailed and natural. I like it. It's really hard for the male protagonist to make this film. You can see from the big belly at the beginning to the model's body at the back, how much God has to suffer to get bigger and smaller like a balloon.

In general, although I feel that there are various shortcomings, it is still a film that can be watched. If it is based on 10 points, I will give it a 6.5 points.
