Compared with "No Country for Old Men" with a similar theme, the world structure of this film is more complete, and the language style is more friendly and humorous. It is also the exposure of the wild and dark side of human nature. What we see is no longer a one-on-one battle of wits and courage, but a one-sided repression. The food chain of "Animal World" is generally displayed in front of us three-dimensionally. This three-dimensionality is reflected in the fact that every clue in the film constitutes a corner of this huge black pyramid, in which everyone occupies their place, performs their duties, is enslaved by others, and ravages others, from top to bottom, The layers are superimposed on each other, making the viewers eye-opening, and, surprisingly, the film will also mention the people corresponding to the scavenger class and the sojourner class animals, which is even more admirable for the film's completeness in this cruel world show up. Therefore, I think that although the film is from the same family, it has unique characteristics, has greater ambitions, and has a higher degree of completion.
Of course, the film also has Scott's unique temperament. Exquisite composition, sharp lens, and undisguised but unusually calm scale display, make the combination of these two powers more complementary to each other. Mr. Scott is always so fond of trying new things, and this time he presents us with a strange world that mixes postmodernism, Mexican classicism, and wild west styles, making people reincarnate and bewildered Among them, but don't forget, this harsh hell full of absurdity and wildness is our loving home.

After reading "Blood Meridian", and then looking back at this work, I can't help but realize: the spiritual inheritance of Mai-style text and philosophical system is like a modern re-shell version of "Blood Meridian", and there is no five-star rating of that movie. Value - Pathfinding and war are the eternal part of human history, and being content with the status quo will only make people weak, and eventually start to fear blood and time.
