Still, although I don't rate the plot very highly of this movie, that's not the point. Through the whole film, what I saw was a figure of a small person who dared to show his courage to question authority and pursue the truth. Even if one after another setbacks stood in front of him, such as social pressure, death threats, family confusion, etc., he still did not stop his steps.
I actually thought about why he was so persistent in pursuing the truth. The pursuit of the truth is certainly correct, but is it worthwhile to pursue the truth when your own life is at stake, and your family is also at risk. In the process of watching, I slowly found the answer, which is the love of the protagonist for the country and the people of the country. The absurd politician transactions brought about this assassination, and behind it all we can see is the hypocrisy of an American regime at that time, what can such a hypocritical government bring to the people. The master just saw the horror of this kind of government, and decided to come forward alone and reveal the truth.
We have always said: "Love knows no bounds". Love should not be limited to a certain person, a certain family, but should spread to many people in the society, as well as the country. The contradiction between the protagonist and his family does not reflect that he does not love the family, but that he cares about his motherland. And with the good development of your country, you will have the further happiness of your own family. I think this point is very realistic now.
