Remenber what Clarence Avant, the boss of Sussex which conducted the two albulms of Rodriguez, said?---Of all the artists I've collaborate wth, Rodriguez is in top five.

What impressed me most is the life he led after his unsuccess in music. As one of the ordinary workers in Detroit, he sometimes even wore a suit to the work place and he was always willing to get work done better regardless of dirt and wearout. co-workers laughed at him when he decided to run for mayor but they just had to believe it when he said:"I'm gonna leave tomorrow to open concerts in South Africa."

Making ends to meet didn't stop him form buliding up life with dreams and arts for his daughters. They' re rich in spirits and being poor won't set you apart form the rich.

I do believe that he hoped pepole in his own country to listen to his music when he brought that he wanted pepole in Deroit to see what happened [his shocking live shows] in South Africa. However he just faced all the dramatic facts calmly.Like he said, he was the man that cared most for the family and that's how he made the decision."you need to embrace what happened aleady, bearing them in mind constantly could do nothing but hurt you.Hardworking is nothing you should be shameful of ."

The whole search thing didn't get him muh fortune and he even went back to repair houses for pepole as usual after concerts.

It's a legendary story that he burnt himself alive on stage after tease from the audience. How can a man like him commits suicide!? I mean, come on, although most of his songs were about drugs and revolutions, he is actually a poet in blue collar who live life with fragrance of filled hearts.
