OMG! Sherlock Holmes is so cute. Cold, humorous, stylish, charming, dramatic, with a smile at the corner of his mouth more mysterious than Mona Lisa, loves to lie on the ground looking for clues, always makes a mess in the house and then Mrs. Hudson cleans while complaining, occasionally hits nicotine or something to stimulate her nerves, teases Watson's reasoning but sees him as a lifelong friend, is a gentleman to those she respects, doesn't even bother to look at those who don't care At a glance...it's so much fun!
Jeremy Brett's performance is wonderful, and he has made "Sherlock Holmes" into the most classic screen image of "Holmes of all times". I always thought he was suitable for the role of a baron or a vampire count. Those captivating charismatic eyes, a performance full of tension between madness and restraint, ha! ~What a great actor but has passed away~~ but he has also been immortal!
