Just look at the big names

The introduction of "Tai Chi" is entirely to cater to Westerners' perception of Chinese martial arts, and it has nothing to do with the theme of the film. The martial arts scenes are very enjoyable. Indeed, at first glance, it is like practicing family tricks (the boss battle at the end of the film is not counted), but the bigger it is, the less it is like Tai Chi, and more like martial arts.

The plot is too bloody, good people are used by bad people in order to protect their families, and finally their conscience finds that the Jedi fights back. The one-line plot basically belongs to the level where you can accurately guess the ending after reading the beginning, including the details.

The characterization was a failure. No need to mention Chen Hu, a layman. Everyone sees him because of his skills, not his acting skills, so we can tolerate the blunt expressions and incongruous body language; Reeves is definitely out of standard, when Naka's presence is compared with neo and constantine When he got up, he was completely the same; Sister Mo's performance was still bright, but unfortunately she couldn't hold up the show; Ren Dahua played well, but unfortunately he was a small character. . .

Man of Tai Chi quotes

  • Female Announcer: A fine line separates a fighter from a warrior. One is motivated by reason, the other, by purpose.

  • Master Yang: You must meditate.

    'Tiger' Chen Lin Hu: Why?

Master Yang: To clear your mind, guide your Chi and gain control.

'Tiger' Chen Lin Hu: I have control.

Master Yang: No, you have power not control.

'Tiger' Chen Lin Hu: Power is control.

Master Yang: That is an illusion.

'Tiger' Chen Lin Hu: It is not an illusion... it's reality. I live in it, you don't. What I learn here I can't use out there.

Master Yang: How can you use what you have not yet learned? Only when you've dispelled these illusions, will you find your way again.
