Life is a right not a duty

Recently, I saw some people complaining and complaining constantly. I remembered the "Mar adentro" I saw a few years ago. I
believe that those who have seen this movie must have a deep memory of Raymond's words! A diving accident robbed Raymond of his freedom. He became a high paraplegic and completely lost his ability to take care of himself, but his consciousness was completely awake. Perhaps it was because of this that he thought so deeply about life and death. Physical condition, living is a shame. It's a pity that he can't even commit suicide. The only thing he can do is to fight against ethics, not to live, but to die with dignity!

He filed a public prosecution in the court, expecting that the law would make his euthanasia legal. He has struggled for nearly 30 years for this, getting older and gradually shrinking his muscles, which has become the only life goal that supports him, sadly What sustains him alive is to gain death!

People always like to criticize others in the name of righteousness, just to satisfy their own moral desires! So many irrelevant people appeared in Raymond's world, "Life is so beautiful, how can you give up life so easily". They used this reason to admonish him and scold his family. Indeed, the world is really beautiful, but unfortunately they all ignore the fact that Raymond has lost his freedom. Freedom means life to Raymond, and I believe it is the same for many people! Just as he responded to Jose: How can you be so selfish, if one day you die suddenly and unexpectedly, do you want to entrust your elderly father, wife and children to me! In reality, we are moved by Zhang Haidi and Helen Keller's strength, but we have no right to ask Raymond to be so strong. But in our eyes, all of this is taken for granted. All we do is force a disabled person to support the burden of life and put pressure on them in one way or another. We are morally kidnapping!

Rosa is a single mother with two children, a poor person who was abandoned by her lover and tortured by life. She faced life with strength. In her eyes, Raymond's behavior was just escaping. It was the behavior of the weak. She joined the ranks of critics, hoping that she could persuade Raymond so that he could correct his mentality, but as she got in touch and deepened her understanding, she realized that it was herself who was really pitiful, and that she was the one who needed comfort. Man, she couldn't help falling in love with Raymond. "Do you love me?" she asked, still trying to keep him alive with love! Raymond said: "Don't try to persuade me to live, people who really love me will go against my will and choose to help me."

At the end of the film, the court pronounced the verdict, after 30 years of fighting, Raymond still lost the euthanasia Right, and finally he was able to kill himself with the help of Rosa! Looking at the camera, although at the moment before his death, Raymond's expression became grim due to the effect of potassium cyanide, and we can't imagine how much pain he was in at this time, but Raymond always kept a faint smile. While laughing at the world, this smile is touching! I thought maybe I chose to end my life in such a painful way because I thought so, I suddenly thought so! After death, there may be heaven, there may be hell, and maybe we can meet our former relatives. We have no way of knowing these who have not experienced death, but choosing death is the best choice for Raymond. This is not an escape, but it belongs to him. Choices made!
